The Tanaka Bristlecone Storytelling Festival was held on Wednesday, April 13. There were storytellers from each fourth and fifth grade class. The students and teachers of Tanaka Elementary enjoyed listening to these stories. The tellers and teachers chose Hannah Arch, a fourth grader from Ms. Jordan's class and Makenna Duvall and Sara Sanchez from Ms. Maggio's fifth grade class to represent Tanaka at the Regional Festival. The Regional Bristlecone Storytelling Festival will be held at the Windmill Library on Wednesday, May 11, at 5:30 PM. Hannah will be telling The Woodcutter and the River Demon. Makenna and Sara will be telling Monkey Gets the Last Laugh. Please come join us to watch them tell their stories along with students from other area schools.
